Photo shoot at Stance Socks

A few years ago I got caught up in the 'fun' socks craze. Every time I'd find a pair of fun socks I had to have them. The company that surpassed everyone else was Stance. They have always been killing the game before it even started. I was beyond excited when I found out that we're doing an article on them in the upcoming issue of Pacific Coast Magazine for a full feature on the brand and the founders.

My company sent the Art Director and myself to their facility in San Clemente, and I was blown away. Their facility was by far one of the coolest I'd ever seen. It was complete with an indoor skate pool, kitchen/lounge with cooking staff, indoor basketball court, mini golf, indoor gym with personal trainer, and more. We spent the entire day there. The kitchen staff even made us lunch.

After months of planning we were able to round up the founders together for a group photo for the feature. Everyone at Stance was welcoming and very nice. We had a blast, and personally for me was a humbling experience to finally meet the guys behind the brand.

Photo shoot with Teemu Selanne

Yesterday I got a chance to photograph Teemu Selanne. He played Right Wing for the Anaheim Ducks and helped them win the Stanley Cup in 2007. He's now retired and owns his own restaurant in Laguna Beach. I got to take his portrait for a Q&A for Pacific Coast Magazine.
